International students may apply for different types of scholarships in some of the best universities in Australia. Scholarships are awarded primarily on the basis of merit, and applicants must show their qualifications for the scholarship they are applying for.

La Trobe University Offshore Online Bursary
Amount -Up to 35% reduction in course fees
Who can apply?
- Future postgraduate coursework, Future undergraduates, International Student.
- The Bursary will be applied as a deduction to subject tuition fees while the student is offshore until the Australian border opens. Failure to meet the condition(s) and pay the acceptance deposit on time may result in the withdrawal of the OOB.
- The OOB will only be available for the online subjects a student completes while located offshore, and is void once they resume their studies at one of our campuses in Australia.
- Students currently living in Australia are not eligible for this bursary.
- This bursary will be applicable from Semester 2, 2021 onwards and will not be backdated.
Eligibility:
- a new, commencing or continuing international student studying offshore online due to border closures.
- a citizen or permanent resident of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
Australia Awards Scholarships for Nepalese Students in Australia
- One must have completed a minimum of 18 years of age and must have the intention of adding to the development of your home country.
- Diversity preference (women applicants, minority groups, people belonging to rural/ economically weaker sections of society).
Destination Australia Scholarships in Australia for Nepalese Students
- One must have completed a minimum of 18 years of age at the time the program or course begins.
- One must not have received any Australian Government grant in recent years.
- Based on predefined eligibility criteria, Higher Education Providers (HEPs) can provide these scholarships to domestic and international students.
- International students must be studying at a regional campus or remote area. Some areas include Gold Coast, Adelaide, Perth, etc.

| Australia Awards scholarship | •This scholarship is given to exceptional graduate Indian students who have enrolled for programs in engineering, construction, energy and resources, security, and strategic studies at leading Australian Universities. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee, a part of living expenses, etc. •Applications for this scholarship open in the month of February and continue till April every year. |
| Destination Australia scholarship | •This scholarship aims to encourage international students to study in regional Australia to regionally develop tertiary education providers in Australia and provide a learning experience to its students •The value of the funding is up to $15,000 for each scholarship, yearly to study at the campus from 2021 •Funding is available for each year depending on your qualification as you remain eligible, for up to the duration of four years.
