The full form of GMAT is Graduate Management Admission Test. A new pattern for the GMAT, known as the GMAT Focus Edition 2023, has been introduced. It has a shorter set of topics and will start on 29th August 2023. GMAT Exam Eligibility

GMAT Exam Dates 2023-24

There is no fixed date on which you can take the GMAT exam, and you have the option to choose a date you wish based on your convenience. Because the test is conducted online all through the year, you can select a date according to your preference.

GMAT Exam Booking

It is advisable to register for the GMAT exam at least two months before the date on which you wish to take the exam. You can follow the given steps to book a GMAT exam slot.

GMAT Score Validity

The GMAT score is valid for up to five years. It is always a good idea to take the GMAT exam, as most top companies ask for a good GMAT score for jobs. If you are not satisfied with your test result, you can retake the GMAT exam. However, you can take the test only five times in one year.

How to Check GMAT Result?

You can check your GMAT result online. The steps to be followed for the same are given below.

  • Log in to your account at the official website.
  • Take GMAT exams.
  • Click the “View Official Scores” button.
  • Enter your Date of Birth.
  • Click the “View Score Report”.

GMAT Score

It is always best to have a high GMAT exam score so that the chances of you getting admission to a top business school abroad are higher. The minimum score accepted will vary depending on the business school.

GMAT Mean Score

Before you plan to attempt the GMAT exam, it is advisable to get an idea of the mean score. It is expected to get a GMAT score of at least 700 if you plan to study at top business schools in the UK or the USA.

GMAT vs GRE: Which is Easier?

Both GMAT and GRE follow a different pattern, and it is not easy to categorise one as easy and another as difficult. Moreover, GMAT is considered the best choice for admission to top business schools to study abroad. However, the Quantitative Reasoning section of the GRE is considered a bit easier than GMAT. On the other hand, the Verbal Reasoning section of GMAT is considered easier than GRE.
