The Pearson PLC Group, which conducts PTE has recently released a new report that compares PTE Academic scores with that of IELTS. According to this new report, it is found that the PTE equivalent to IELTS will be much higher. This means that if you obtain an IELTS score from 7 to 9, you have to score higher in PTE. Although this new report is not taken into account by the New Zealand and Australian Immigration, it is better to have this in mind.
